Special Care Counselling - RAC

Research resources for all your RAC clusters.

Your Guide to Research

In this section, you will find step-by-step instructions to finding research materials using the George Wallace Library's services. They will help you find what you need to fulfill the research components of Cluster F.

  • Click a type of resource in the left-side menu to learn how to find it.

Need More? - Resources at the BANQ

Need more information?

Have you tried all of the library's resources and still can't find what you're looking for? Don't worry, there are more options.

The Bibliothèque et Archives Nationales du Québec (BAnQ) has many resources available to all residents of Quebec (books, databases, government publications...)

  • To access those resources, you will need to sign up if you don't already have a BAnQ card. If you already have a card, use your ID number and password to login to the databases.
  • You can sign up online! Click here and fill out the necessary information.

Why sign up?

  • The BAnQ is much bigger than the George Wallace library. They have access to a wide array of databases that we don't have.
  • Once you finish your program, you will unfortunately lose access to the George Wallace library's resources. The BAnQ's resources, however, are available to everyone who resides in Quebec. This means you can continue using them throughout your career, for free!
Tip! If you sign up to the BAnQ remotely, it might take a few days before you receive the email with your login information. It's best not to do this at the last minute.
