Who can use the library computers?

All 88 student workstations in the Library are designated for research & student coursework only.
Our Library has the following computer resources available:

  • 39 seated computers in the main Reference area are available for student use at all times.
  • 10 stand-up computers are available for quick editing, research, and printing.
  • 40  computers in the Library orientation classroom are available for use by students when Library instruction classes are not being held.

Please note:

  • A valid student I.D. and password are required to log into all computers except the stand-up ones.
  • Note: Print Express computers beside the Printer are reserved for students who only need to print something quickly. Please do not use these computers if you need to write a paper or do some serious editing of your work.
  • Note: Wireless connectivity is available throughout the Library for students who wish to use their own devices and laptops. Connect to the campus network CHAMP-WIFI with your student ID# and password for the college computers.

How do I sign into the library computers?

You cannot log in to the library computers using your Omnivox password. Instead, you will need to log in with your student number and "password for college computers" (available on your course schedule in Omnivox).

Note: you may not be able to view your password in Omnivox from a mobile device, because the mobile version of the Omnivox site does not display this information in your course schedule. You have two options to solve this problem: (1) Check to see if there is a link to open the “Desktop Version” of the site. Clicking this link will take you to the full browser version of Omnivox, and you will be able to see your password. (2) If you are already at the library, use one of the 9 stand-up computer stations to access Omnivox and retrieve your password (these computers do not require a log-in).
