French Resources

A guide to finding resources (books, articles, government documents, etc.) in French.

Finding French articles in ProQuest Research Library and CBCA

ProQuest Research Library is a database that contains articles from magazines and scholarly journals. ProQuest Canadian Business and Current Affairs (CBCA) is a database that contains articles mostly from Canadian magazines and journals.  Both of these contain sources in French. Access both of them via the "Articles" tab on the library home page.

To find French articles in ProQuest Research Library and CBCA, first type your search terms (in French) in the search boxes at the top of the "Advanced Search" page. Then scroll down the page.

Make sure that the "Full text" option is selected. If you need scholarly articles, also make sure that the "Peer reviewed" option is selected.
